Interviewer:What's the reason for working in a travel agency?

Alice:Because I love it. Since I was little，I've been interested in foreign countries, especially their literature and culture. I majored in English in college so that I'd be able to understand those cultures better.

Interviewer:What do you know about our agency?

Alice:Well，1just referred about your agency. You take all ages，you take them wherever they want to be showed，and that is，you are very flexible .And you have a large network, internal and external while you own professional management，which means you accept only professional guides. Of course you also pay well.

Interviewer:Do you have any experience?

Alice:Last year I guided a few foreign tourists around Beijing as a part-time job.I showed them to the Great Wall，the Imperial Palace and the Summer Palace.

Interviewer:Then what do you think about tips or souvenirs from your clients and kickbacks from the people whose client you are?

Alice:Souvenirs are OK，but not kickbacks. After all，you need to save your clients' money，too，because you want them to come back to you next time or get their friends to your agency.

Interviewer:Good. You know the tourist guide is a hard job.

Alice:Yes，I know. But at the same time，it's also my interest，so that there is nothing like hardness.

面试官:你为什么想在旅行社工作?

爱丽丝:因为我喜欢这个行业。自小我就对外国感兴趣，尤其是对它们的文学和文化感兴趣。大学时我主修英语专业，所以能够比较了解那些文化。

面试官:你对我们旅行社有何了解?

爱丽丝:我已经查阅了一些关于贵旅行社的资料。你们接待各种年龄层客人，他们想去哪里你们都带他们去。也就是说，你们很灵活，而且，你们有一个庞大的网络，覆盖公司内部和外部。你们还有专业的管理，它要求你们的导游专业化。当然，你们支付的薪水也不错。

面试官:你有工作经验吗?

爱丽丝:去年我做过一份兼职，即带一些外国游客到北京观光，我带着他们去了长城，游览了故宫和颐和园。

面试官:那么如果你的顾客给你小费或纪念品，你带游客买东西从卖方得到回扣或佣金，你对这些怎么看?

爱丽丝:纪念品可以接受，但回扣不行。毕竟，你也得帮游客省钱，因为你想要他们做你的回头客，或是介绍他们的朋友做你的客人。

面试官:不错。大家都知道导游这份工作比较辛苦。

爱丽丝:是的，我知道，导游也恰是我的兴趣所在。所以，对我来说无所谓辛苦。
