Interviewer: Did you bring the papers that will verify your qualifications?
Applicant: Yes, here they are.
Interviewer:( Looking over her file) Do you have a United States R. N. license?
Applicant: No, as I have just arrived here, I haven't had a chance to take the exam.
Interviewer: I see. Well, how about your nursing education in China?
Applicant: I learned nursing through theory and practice for four years at the Department of Nursing in Shanghai Medical College. And I got a R. N. license i n 2003,the year of my graduation.
Interviewer: Have you had any nursing experience in any hospitals before coming to the States?
Applicant: Yes, I worked at the People's Hospital in Shanghai.
Interviewer: Did you work there long?
Applicant : A little over four years.
Interviewer:What are the wards in which you have worked?
Applicant: I have worked in the surgical ward.
Interviewer : If you are hired by this hospital, what ward would you like to work in?
Applicant: If possible, I'd like you to try me in the medical ward.
Interviewer:All right. We'll let you know within a week. Thank you for coming.
