一、题型分类和评分过程

托福口语的六道题可以分为独立和综合两个类型(Task 1、2 为独立题，Task 3、 4 、5 、6为综合题)。在评分时，考生的答题录音会在经过数码降噪处理后被自动分为三组，分别是Task1&2，Task3&5和Task4&6，即独立任务(第一组)、校园任务(第二组)和学术任务(第三组);再由经过认证的评分人分别对考生三组任务的录音进行评测，每道题的评分等级由低到高分别用weak，limited，fair和good来标识，最后六道题的总分将被转换为0~30分的标准分，而考生三组题目的最终得分等级，也会标示在电子成绩单上(score report)。关于评分，托福官方指南OG里面明确指出，托福口语6大任务的3项评分准则包括：delivery, language use and topic development,， 即表述、语言使用和话题展开能力，这三项考核并无优先等级，各占三分之一比重。

二、口语备考方法

(一)独立口语

口语的一二题可以配合独立写作一起练习。另外就是准备一些自己的模版。模版对于那些思路不是特别清晰、容易紧张没话说同学的托福独立口语来说还是非常重要的。可以分析总结一下托福口语会涉及到的话题，几个大分类之间是会有重合部分的，也就是有些东西是很多个问题都可以用的。将那些写成模版背下来，将成为你自己的专属模版。而模版的写作也是要遵循总分总原则、一句中心论点、几句分论点、例子加总结。记得自己测试一下是否可以在限定时间内说(背)完。

(二)综合口语

大家要知道托福口语考试真正的考察的是语言的实际使用能力，换言之就是，考生对于信息传递的能力。对比托福口语的题型当我们可以清晰的看到，独立口语题目考生是否能迅速的表达自己的观点，综合口语题目部分就看考生能否准确接收、记录和转述信息了。

综合口语有听力和阅读进来乱掺和，很多同学一下就懵了。但是事实上，托福综合口语是最能考量学生之后的“上课能力”的项目之一。所以对于托福综合口语，要抓住重点和筛选复述的信息，语言表达要流畅清晰。综合口语的做题思路可以完全看作你的朋友让你帮忙听一节课，过后你迅速的向他传达这节课重点的过程。听课大家都会，所以要解决的问题就是听懂，毕竟只有听懂了你才能够用自己的语言转述。而转述输出可以也列一个大致的框架，把听到的内容填进空中，再在相关的地方填上自己的看法。有助于你在考场紧张时依旧能够有条理的回答。

(三)整体

1、针对举例不会

说到举例，大家都知道例子的重要性，如果没有例子，那就是大白话一篇了，美国人喜欢有论据支持你的论点，这样他才会觉得真实可信。例子一定是具体的例子，不能是泛泛的。最好有具体的事儿来说，而不是空泛的白开水话。

2、针对语料不足

独立题的现场15秒准备，对大部分同学而言，是很恐怖的大脑断片儿的前奏。甚至包括写作的时候，想到举例都一脸茫然。所以，要保证现场高品质的输出，一定要在考前搭建自己的专属语料库，考场上的15秒准备时间，是用来将题目和你的语料库进行检索和信息匹配用的，而不是寄希望于有太多不确定性的临场发挥。所以备考阶段可以按照话题分类，每一个做一次主题展示演讲。比如说环境问题，那么我们做环境问题演讲的时候可以积累很多语料内容，而演讲也有助于我们勇敢的口语表达。

3、备考阶段要总结

不管是哪部分的复习，一定要注意总结。把不会的不熟悉的一定要收集到一起，进行复习。同时总结答题和复习规律，并且总结自己容易错、容易失误的部分。这些是你个人独有的最贴合你自己的复习资料，相信总结后一定会有收获。

三、学习材料

口语1、2题可以用机经来复习。还有写作185作文题库也是不错的材料。(坚持看本君的考情分析是很有用哒!)其他的可以用DELTA的口语题&TPO的听力部分&SSS作为听力理解转述部分。

语言是个很奇妙的东西。钱钟书老先生曾拿咏水的古诗来比喻语言的作用。语言可以让我们相互融合，所谓“君家门前水，我家门前流”;语言也可以让我们相互误解，所谓“盈盈一水间，脉脉不得语。”我在前一篇文章提到，我们的英文表述之所以不够地道，不光是因为语言本身，从更深层次的角度来说，这其中其实还有地域以及文化因素的差异所导致。

为什么这么说呢?大家不妨一起来思考一下，美国总统所住的white house译成汉语时为何变成了白宫，而不是白房子?这其中恐怕就要牵扯到文化背景包括政治体制的原因。美国虽然是个年轻的国家，但开国先驱在建立这个国家时就把一些核心原则写入《独立宣言》，比如人人生来平等并享有同等的基本权利，宪法保护少部分人的权利和自由，政府应当反映个人意志。因此在普通的美国人眼中，他们的house和white house并没有本质上的区别，即便那是全国行政级别最高的公务员[微博]住的地方。而在有着几千年封建传统的泱泱古国，帝王、家国，“家天下”的观念已经深入人心。“普天之下，莫非王土;在土之兵，莫非王臣。”对于生活在“旧社会”的普通中国人来说，他打死你都不敢把自己的房子叫“宫”，在那个年代这可是要株连九族的罪名。因此，当white house第一次来到神州大地之时，译者把它译作了白宫，因为他们下意识地认为那是美国“皇帝”住的地方。

了解了这些，我们就能够更好地从根本上去改进我们的“Chinglish Style”. 事实上，即便是母语同为英语但不同地域的Native Speakers，一个美国人在听到一个爱尔兰人讲到“I will put it on my long finger”时，他也无法立即反应出对方所要表达的意思，直到对方说出“I will keep that in mind”才恍然大悟。

回到托福口语考试，我们知道虽然大家在考试过程中面对的只是一台电脑机器，但实际上我们是在通过电脑录音的形式同ETS的rater进行交流与沟通。既然是以沟通为最后目的的，那么大家就需要能通过英文语言这样一种载体的形式，把所要表达的信息呈现出来，并有效地传达过去，让rater完全听懂明白。在保证答即所问的前提下，你能够让rater越容易去理解你所要表达的意思，那么理论上讲你的分数就应该越高。

而对于去参加托福考试的同学来说，摆在他们面前的有三座大山，导致他们无法在口语的考查中和ETS的考官进行很好的交流，继而取得很高的分数。

首先是表达上的沟通障碍。这个其实就好比我们汉语普通话不同版本的地方方言，因为习惯不同造成了一定程度上的理解困难和沟通障碍。作为一个出自美国的、只是针对母语为非英语国家考生的语言能力测试，笔者认为ETS在表达项并不会给大家设置太高的标准，只要能够讲的清晰、流利，语调语速自然以及发音正确，这一项就不会有太大问题。很多人对“中式发音”是否会影响甚至决定自己分数的好坏有很大的担忧，但在笔者看来这其实并不是衡量你分数的决定性因素。不是说表达的好坏不重要，而是说在娇好的外貌长相面前，ETS会更看重你的内在的气质和底蕴。即说的是什么(包括结构、逻辑)，以及具体怎样用这样一门语言来去表述。而且，很多时候我们说不完说不好，很大程度上是因为自己没有想清该怎样去说或者不知道如何去用英文说所导致。

因此，问题又回到了我们开始讨论的原点。如何切实提升自身的思维能力和语言能力?第一条提升起来看似比较难，像我们刚才分析的“白宫”个例一样，需要大家对整个美国地域及民族的文化背景有很深入的了解才能有质的提升。但好在托福口语只考查大家六道题

目，需要你重点去了解的无非就是开门见山、总分结构以及因果逻辑关系等几大主要原则。这些，在老师的课上都会详细的讲到。

对于托福口语考试来说，真正关键的是对于语言能力的提升。事实上这个往往是能够让你的答案与众不同、真正打动rater的法宝(当然也要在结构条理、逻辑清晰的前提下)。在整个口语的对话过程中，我们实际上是在用外在的语言来表达内在的想法，最终达到有效沟通的目的。语言作为一门传递信息的工具，它的质量的好坏决定了我们沟通能否顺畅进行。那么如何切实提升这项如此关键的能力呢?笔者认为，地道的句式储备是其中最为最为重要的环节。事实上，换句话说，我们实际上是在用有限的句式，来表达和传递无限的想法。
