从上面的实例中可以看出e-mail的格式主要包括4项:

To:即这个e-mail发给谁,通常是接受者的电子邮件信箱。

From:即这个e-mail是谁发的,通常是发送者的电子邮件信箱。

CC: carbon copy 的缩写,愿意是用复写纸预写副本,在e-mail 中为“抄送”之意,即可同事把此邮件发给其他的人,有时也可写成copy to:。

Subject:即主题,也就是这封e-mail的主要内容是什么。

另外从语言上看,这三封e-mail在语气上有很强的口语化的痕迹,这点与note有相同之处。但e-mail的语气的正式程序也要视发送者和接收者之间的关系。某些情况下如果用e-mail的方式发送信件,那么行文就应该是正式的。

英语作文写邮件格式

发英文邮件的格式:

英文电子邮件的基本要素是主题、称谓、正文、结尾用语及署名。

电子邮件最重要的部分是主题,假设我们都是很忙的人,在打开邮箱阅读邮件时,第一眼看到的就是邮件的主题。所以,主题应当做到言简意赅并突出邮件重要性。英文邮件的主题需要注意不超过35个字母,将位于句首的单词和专有名词首字母大写。比如:Some questions about C++.在比较正式的格式中,需要把每个单词的首字母大写(介词、冠词除外)。

称谓如果是第一次给对方写信,那么称谓最好用“Dear+全名”,这样会让人感觉比较正式。如果对方以非正式口吻来信,我们也可以类似非正式地回复。比如:“Hello/Hi Lillian”。在实际通信中可能遇到不知道对方姓名,可以用“Dear+对方头衔”,如“Dear President”,或者“Dear+Sir/Madam”形式。英国人习惯在称呼后加“,”,美国人习惯在称谓后加“:”,有时也可以不加任何标点,是具体情况而定。

在书写正文时,把最重要的事情写在正文最前面或者邮件内容较长时写在第一段。为了让收件人阅读邮件比较舒服,我们需要注意邮件正文结构的美感,邮件段落最好控制在两三段之内。如果一封电子邮件涉及多个信息点,我们可以采用分条目的方法,如符号、小标题、编号来使得邮件想要表达的内容层次清晰。邮件内容应注意单词的拼写、大小写、标点、语法等。所谓以小见大。

结尾语在正文之后添加。注意一般结尾语中只有第一个单词首字母大写而剩余单词都小写,此处与称呼不同。

英语邮件的格式:

一、主题

主题(Subject)框的内容应简明地概括信的内容,短的可以是一个单词,如greetings;长的可以是一个名词性短语,也可以是完整句,但长度一般不超过35个字母。

YES:Supplier training

NO:professional trainees from sister company should abide by rule of local company(太长)

主题框的内容切忌含糊不清。

NO:像News about the meeting 这样的表达,

YES:应改为Tomorrow's meeting canceled。

一般来说,只要将位于句首的单词和专有名词的首字母大写即可。另外一种较为正规的格式可将除了少于5个字母的介词、连接词或冠词之外的每一个单词的首字母大写。

YES:New E-mail Address Notification;Detailed calculation

NO:detailed calculation

视信的内容是否重要,还可以开头加上URGENT或者FYI(For Your Information,供参考),如:URGENT:Submit your report today!

二、称呼

1、E-mail一般使用非正式的文体,因此正文(Body)前的称呼(Salutation)通常无须使用诸如Dear Mr. John之类的表达。在同辈的亲朋好友或同事间可以直呼其名,但对长辈或上级最好使用头衔加上姓。YES:Tommy,或者Mr. Smith。

2、称呼和正文之间,段落之间,正文和信尾客套话之间一般空一行,开头无须空格。如:

Jimmy,

I received your memo and will discuss it with Eric on Wednesday.

Best,

David

三、结尾部分

A、书信的结尾致意要留意,弄清大家的关系才选择用词,例子:

1、 Very Formal非常正规的(例如给政府官员的)

Respectfully yours, Yours respectfully,

2、 Formal正规的(例如客户公司之间啦)

Very truly yours, Yours very truly, Yours truly,

3、 Less Formal不太正规的(例如客户)

Sincerely yours, Yours sincerely, Sincerely, Cordially yours, Yours cordially, Cordially

英语作文写邮件的通用句子:

一.问候

I haven’t heard from you for ages. How are you doing?

I haven’t seen you for such a long time. How are you getting along with your work?

二.祝贺

I want to congratulate you with all my heart.

I warmly congratulate you on what you’ve achieved.

三.致谢

I am most grateful to you for your help.

邀请信常用句型:

1. I am pleased to invite you to participate in… to be held from… to… in…

2. It is my pleasure/ a great honor for me to invite you to…

3. I hope that you won’t decline my invitation.

4. I will cover all the expenses involved.

5. Would you please let me know as soon as possible if you can accept my invitation?

6. I do hope you will be able to accept our invitation.

7. Do you agree to my arrangement? If you could prefer different arrangements, we shall fit in with them.

8. If you accept we shall, of course, pay you a fee plus expenses.

投诉信常用句型:

1. I am writing to you to complain abut…

2. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with…

3. I am completely disappointed /upset to find…

4. There are some problems with… that I wish to bring to attention . In the first place,… in the second place. …

5. To improve the situation, it is advisable to take the following measures, For one thing, … For another,…

6. I do hope that the problems will be solved as soon as possible.

7. I do hope my suggestions will be taken into consideration to improve the situation.
