洛阳是十三朝古都，文化底蕴极为深厚，这里有著名的龙门石窟、白马寺，关林庙等名胜古迹，但我最喜欢的就是龙门石窟。龙门石窟属于世界文化遗产，开凿于北魏孝文帝迁都洛阳前后，后来又历经东西魏、北齐，到隋唐至宋朝等朝代又连续大规模营造达四百余年之久。大小佛像共有十万余尊。最大的佛像足有17.24米，而最小的仅有二厘米。但是不管大还是小，都雕刻得栩栩如生，体现出了我国古代劳动人民极高的艺术造诣。
